Large

The design is inspired by "argizaiola", a thin, upright wax candle that’s wrapped around a wooden board and part of an ancient practice in the Basque region of Spain. Muka Design Lab took the cultural object from their home region and created Argizari Table Light, a modern minimalist take on the candle. The light features a large diffuser that emanates a soft glow, creating a calming ambiance in any space.

Argizari is made in three sizes to elevate each room in your home. The large is a sculptural statement piece. Use the large diffuser to welcome people in your entryway or illuminate a dark corner in your living room. For Argizari medium, place the table light in your bedroom or workspace to create a calming light to read or work by. The mini is the most versatile piece, designed to fit shelves and small spaces.

Kero

Mobility meets familiarity with Kero Table Light by noun studio of San Francisco. Led by Elvin Chu, noun studio brings a modern touch to the iconic kerosene lamp. Like it’s oil-powered predecessors, Kero features a prominent handle that beautifully frames the light. The conical base lifts the light off the ground for easy cord wrapping during transport. Kero’s generously sized diffuser emits a warm glow in all directions, fit with an adjustable dimmer to control the intensity depending on your mood and environment.

Made to move throughout the home, the Kero Table Light is perfect for adding supportive lighting at your work desk during the day, to an ambient glow for al fresco dinners on your patio. Kero is there whenever and wherever you need it.

Unplug the light. Lift the shade in order to have access to light bulb.

Place the shade over base and diffuser. The diffuser should fit in the shade and be located into place with magnets.

Arintzea

Muka Design Lab, the Bilbao-based studio that brought us Maskor Table Light, launches Arintzea – a new lighting collection sparked by the Art Deco influence within Basque architecture. Aptly named after the Basque word for “streamlined”, these mushroom-like lights feature smooth, clean geometries and a nod to vintage illumination.

Arintzea’s bowl shaped diffuser offers an unobstructed glow while the simple base flaunts embellished linework that is equal parts Art Deco and signature Muka. Install Arintzea Wall Light with Gantri’s single screw mount for sleek bedside ambiance.

Muka’s designs are inspired by the award-winning duo’s life in the Basque region of Northern Spain. They’ve established a familiar design language that can be seen in the linework within Maskor’s diffuser, the bases of Arintzea and throughout other pieces designed by the studio. While Maskor ties back to the sea, Arintzea represents the balance of old and new architecture in Bilbao, a cornerstone of the Muka aesthetic.

Pavone Collection, Viviana Degrandi’s sophomore Gantri project, represents a new era of her work. Inspired by the peacock, the symbol of rebirth, Pavone radiates light from a diffuser reminiscent of tail feathers. Designed as an invitation to the home, Pavone’s welcoming shape and warm light create an idyllic moment in any room.

The illuminating body, enclosed between two shells, diffuses the light radially – creating a balanced glow throughout your space. Pavone Floor Light is an invitation to relax. Simply perched above your coziest living room chair, you can enjoy calm, ambient lighting throughout your evening routine.

Creating warmth in the winter season with Gantri #GantriForMe #Ad

Good lighting that can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere is especially important when the days get shorter during the winter season. I like to spend some time during early evenings in our sunroom to relax with just one light on. The warmth of the light against the dark and cold sky outside makes it super cozy to read a nice book, listen to good music, and helps me to unwind and recharge at the end of the day.

How do you set up a positive mood during the winter season?

Baltra Lantern Floor Light

Fireplace/sitting room update!! Swipe over to see the before!

There’s still a lot of work to do in here including staining and adding quarter round and trim around the fireplace and possibly buffing the floors at some point. But we updated the curtains and I love seeing the hardwood floors! Little by little this is coming together and it makes me so happy.

QUESTION FOR YOU! Should I hang a mirror or artwork above the fireplace?!
